Carol Vorderman stepped out in an uncharacteristic way on Sunday.
The Countdown icon, 60, decided to head outside make-up free – which is a rare occurrence for the age-defying star who loves to enhance her looks with glamorous cosmetics.
She told her fans that she decided to go out sans mascara, bronzer, blusher and lipstick as she “couldn’t be bothered” to raid her make-up bag before heading outside to enjoy the blanket of snow that fell overnight near her Bristol home.
Proving that Carol does not need the help of make-up to radiate beauty, she gave fans a look at her natural appearance in a gorgeous selfie snapped outside.
Posing with a huge grin, the mathematic genius wowed with the fur hood of her coat framing her face and brunette locks.
Several of Carol’s fans took to comments to share their admiration for her complexion.
One penned: “Naturally beautiful.”
A second and third added: “Absolutely gorgeous Carol = and the weathers stunning too” and “You look gorgeous Carol.”
Others shared that they loved how she looked without make-up as they typed: “You look good without any” and “Beautiful without all the make up.”
Carol turned 60 on Christmas Eve and marked the milestone with a bikini snap.
The bombshell uploaded a photograph of herself from several years earlier – showing her posing in a bikini and clutching a huge mug.
Fans scrolling through the images shared via Instagram discovered that the sizzling photo had been sent into space – with Carol explaining her celebratory anecdote.
She wrote: “Happy 37th Birthday to me.
“I’ve LOVED my 50s.They started with an astronaut friend taking this photo up to the Space Station so I could ‘sunbathe in space’. The rest of the years have been equally absurd.”
She continued: “I’m the luckiest woman on earth.
“Life has only just begun! Bring it on. #LovedAndLoving #ThankyouYouKnowWhoYouAre.”
True enough, the images showed the original photograph had been taken to space and displayed on a window of the International Space Station.
Carol’s dazzling smile lit up the window while the earth could be seen thousands of miles away.
While a further image showed the bikini shot of Carol stamped with the International Space Station official print.
