Even though there is a Facebook application coming to the Pre and webOS Facebook has gone ahead and completely revamped the mobile web version of their site. Until now Facebook on the Pre has been a pretty unbearable experience (for me at least).
Some of the new changes include the ability to “Like” and “Unlike” posted statuses and links, comment on videos, view application updates and the ability view more photos in albums. Even though there has been a lot of basic functionality added there is still plenty more to go.
Updating the mobile web version of Facebook could possibly mean the application for the Pre is still a bit of a ways off but we wouldn’t put money on that. I think for now I will still go for the full functionality of the regular site until we see a solid app.
